Did not work as described in product description.,
The trimmer worked fairly well, but if you decide to clean it out (including the finishing shaver) make sure you attach everything exactly right or the unit will not run. The talc did prevent razor burn. But the Finishing shaver does NOT give you a close shave. You can probably get as close a shave just using the trimmer. If the hair isn’t standing straight up the finishing shaver will not trim the hair. I was very disappointed in the quality of the materials used in this product, as well as the functionality.

I did extensive research, then ordered this product with high hopes. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when I received it.
The trimming shaver is cheaply made and, despite the “no nicks & cuts” claim, nicked me within the 1st 10 seconds even though I was being very careful. Even worse, the shaver died after a few minutes of use (and yes, I was using a brand new battery).
The finishing shaver is better, both in terms of quality of construction and effectiveness. Still, it didn’t cut very effectively — I get much better results with my Braun razor.
Neither shaver performs as advertised, so save your time and money and look elsewhere.

|Works Well For Me,
I have this kit for about a year now. Finishing shaver is awesome quality, trimmer has somewhat cheap look and feel. You should follow instructions to make it work well: apply talc, make skin tight and shave slowly with trimmer first. 90% of the time trimmer is enough for me, but after trimmer you can cut stubbles with finishing shaver.
I used to shave my armpits with razor before and trimmer works much better, I never cut myself or anything. The only annoying part I found is that trimmer uses 1 AA battery and shaver 3 AAA batteries and because I use rechargeables for them it is inconvenient to recharge, because they should be recharged in pairs.
